The BYSA Board of Directors would like to thank everyone who signed up for programming in the 2020 season. Unfortunately we were unable to proceed with any of our normal Spring, Fall, and Winter programs due to Covid-19, and all registrants were refunded accordingly. With the circumstances of this past year we find ourselves without ‘Voting Membership’ for 2020 beyond the current Board of Directors. Below is an excerpt from the BYSA Bylaws defining the Voting Membership:

1. Qualification – the Voting Membership in BYSA shall be open to and comprised of any person who is 18 years of age and older and meets ONE of the following criteria:

1. Is the legal guardian or parent of a child who is or was registered in BYSA programs in the current calendar year;

2. Is a Director of the BYSA board;

3. Persons who coached in the BYSA program in the current calendar year;

The BYSA Board of Directors will hold a virtual AGM January 19,2021 at 5:30PM. If you would like to attend virtually for informational purposes, please reach out to office@bysa.ca including your first and last name, description of your affiliation with BYSA (ie. former player, parent of child, etc.), and the email you would like the virtual invite sent to. All requests to attend must be received no later than January 5,2021.

We are hopeful for a return to play in 2021, but will be watching health guidelines along with all of you.
